Your new job working as an Account Handler/ Technician within the International Energy, Marine and Natural Resources Liability team will be working for an Independently owned Global Lloyd's Brokers based in the heart of the City with offices based in 38 countries. Your new Brokers are committed to delivering results to their clients and building long term relationships. Your new permanent job working as an all-encompassing Account Handler/ Technician will be working within an established Marine, Energy and Natural Resources team will be handling complex International Energy Liability risks.
Your new role
Your new job working as an International Energy Liability Account Handler/ Technician you will be working within an established team where you will be establishing strong client relationships built upon your ability to deliver a high standard of service, in order to retain a portfolio of clients. You will be dealing with incoming enquiries from clients, insurers and third parties, handling client renewals and mid-term adjustments, and ensuring all transactions are conducted with full transparency. You will work closely alongside Client Directors and Account Executives where you will assisting in the creation of comprehensive client and broking documentation, as well as, producing MRC Slips, Endorsements, Presentations, Credit & Notes and servicing clients' accounts from inception to completion. Moreover, you will be expected to treat clients in a fair and ethical manner, develop strong relationships with markets and produce technical documentation to include; MRC Slips, quotes and endorsements. Other duties will include; administration/processing and handling Marine, Energy and Natural Resources in a broking team.
What you'll need to succeed
Your previous experience working as either an Account Handler/ Technician within a Lloyd's Broker where you have had exposure to International Marine, Energy Liability or Natural Resources will contribute to your success. Ideally, you will be confident in your ability dealing with renewals, MTA's and maintaining client relationships whilst also developing a strong relationship with markets. You will have knowledge in placing International Energy Liability risks, you will be responsible for client servicing, producing technical documentation to include; MRC Slips and ideally be working towards Cert CII and above. You will have the ability to work effectively in a team, have good organisational skills and use your own ability to think literally and solve problems using your own initiative.
