This is a fantastic opportunity to join an enterprising business that offer a number of support and information services to business customers. Your role will be to provide a fully supporting role to the Head of Finance across all areas of Finance in ensuring that reliable and flexible support is given to all areas of the business.


* The role is to support the finance team, in monthly management accounting tasks, including:

* Monthly Journals for each group company

* Reconciliations: Balance Sheet, Loan Fund Account, Month end reports checks

* Deliver reporting for projects and contracts to allow the business to determine the profitability of contracts and products in its portfolio

* Prepare timely month-end and year end management accounts with appropriate intelligence and reports to allow the business to make informed financial and operational decisions

* Prepare audit work for external and internal auditors as part of the annual and any interim and project audit work

* Monitor and review claims and invoicing relating to projects and contracts including the recovery of outstanding invoices

* Reconcile financial data within the claims prepared against both the finance and other business systems

Person Specification:

* Ideally currently completing or completed their AAT or similar qualification

* Ability to analyse management information

* Ability to work with and contribute to a team environment, as well as working autonomously at times

* IT literacy with competence in Microsoft packages.
