This is an exciting opportunity to join an growing organisation in the City centre of Liverpool. Due to the expansion of the team's responsibilities, my client is looking to recruit a Senior Business Analyst to work on strategic, tactical & small change projects. Working in the BA team, you will take a leading role in the capture and definition of high-quality business requirements, supporting large and complex change portfolio and small change initiatives. Develop key relationships with business and technical colleagues, senior and executive stakeholders across the organisation, as well as external service providers. Responsibilities will include taking a lead role in the rigorous application of Change Model and Business Analysis Methodology (BAM) frameworks to ensure that business requirements are captured, validated, documented and managed, including:

* Proactively engaging with proposition, product and business owners to deliver requirements by establishing clear objectives, scope and impacts of change initiatives.
* Leading the development of solution designs with internal and external partners, through a deep understanding of the change initiative requirements, and validating these against design principles.
* Ensuring that business requirements are quality assured through the peer group review process, appropriate approvals obtained and end-to-end traceability maintained, and have oversight of this process for multiple change initiatives when required.
* Proactive collaboration with the Business Architect and IT to ensure proposed requirements and solution designs are impact assessed against architecture frameworks
* Ensure impact assessments are documented, reviewed and understood by all change stakeholders.
* Produce high quality inputs to the Design Authority to facilitate effective solution design reviews and approvals.
* Oversee and lead the review, validation, and challenge of commercial impacts resulting from change requirements:
* Provide leadership for stakeholders in their understanding of the impact assessment of change requirements.
* Present third party supplier solutions designs to senior stakeholders
* Establish collaborative working relationships with Test teams (internal and external) to support the production of test plans, test scenarios, test scripts and acceptance criteria, ensuring traceability to business requirements and full test coverage.
* Actively managing own workload, whilst supporting the team’s workload management by providing estimates for deliverables for the purpose of capacity and project planning activities.
* Provide support and mentoring to less experienced members of the Business Analysis team in both technical skills and business or product knowledge when required.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience within a similar role with full change life-cycle experience from inception through design, testing & implementation. You will be capable of providing exceptional business analysis and problem solving skills. Business Process Modelling techniques. Requirements elicitation through interview, workshop & observation including techniques for analysis, definition & management. Have excellent communication skills and be able to present complex business solutions, both written and verbal, to key stakeholders. Data modelling techniques, Operating model impact assessments & an industry recognised qualification in business analysis e.g. ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis would be desirable.
