We are working with a highly reputable Independent Insurance Broker based in South Molton who are looking for a Team Leader.

We are looking for an experienced, organised and confident individual. A full driving license is essential for this role.

Team Manager Job Purpose:

* Manages and leads a team of employees
* Communicates company goals, safety practices, and deadlines to team
* Motivates team members and assesses performance
* Provides help to management, including hiring and training, and keeps management updated on team performance
* Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members

Team Manager Job Duties:

* Manages book of business, including keeping detailed records of leads and sales
* Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
* Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
* Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems, and oversees team member work for quality and compliance
* Communicates deadlines and sales goals to team members
* Develops strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals
* Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
* Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines
* Ensures company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards
* Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
* Assigns tasks to members of the team
* Interacts with other team managers in other departments
* Represents the business and portrays it in a positive light
* Supports senior managers and performs management duties when managers are absent or out of office
* Looks for opportunities to grow their book of business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives, and works to take advantage of those opportunities
* General Secretarial & Administration
* General Assistance within the overall office and acting as a team member
* Cross Sales of alternative products to existing clients
* Introduction of clients to Financial Services
* Maximising Income & Containing Expenditure
* Working in a professional & compliant manner at all times, to include Treating Customers Fairly.
