COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Are you a recent graduate in Business Information Systems? Are you looking to join a global manufacturing business and practically utilise your skills and knowledge? THE ROLE
It will be your responsibility to identify and establish effective data management systems to enable automated workflow and other technologies within key planning and warehouse processes. You will report directly to the Plant Manager and you will effectively implement, test and deploy solutions to the business.

Your key duties will include:

- Analysing current processes by working with internal colleagues to understand the needs of the Planning and Warehousing functions as well as the wider organisation
- Gathering, identifying and documenting business requirements
- Using data modelling products to analyse findings and create suggestions for operational improvements and changes
- Creating functional specifications for new systems and processes
- Identifying cost and business savings
- Communicating and explaining ideas, issues, problems and progress to the team and other stakeholders
- Facilitating workshops and commencing projects

YOUR EXPERIENCE
To apply for this role, it is essential you meet the following criteria:

- A degree in Business Information Systems (minimum 2:1)
- Knowledge and experience of building and managing databases
- An innovative, creative and mathematical mind-set
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail and process centred approach to work
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ideally, you will also carry one years` experience in the manufacturing industry

THE SALARY
You will receive a starting salary of £22,000, which will be reviewed dependent on your performance.

THE CONTRACT
This is a permanent, full time role. You will work 8am - 430pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 3.30pm on a Friday. There will also be overtime opportunities.

You will receive 25 days` annual leave per year (+ bank holidays), however, this includes a summer and winter shutdown whereby holiday must be used within this time.
