The Company:

Our client, a national company, well known within their industry are seeking a self-motivated, enthusiastic Credit Control Team Manager to collect debt in a professional and timely manner from customers, whilst also supporting the contact centre managing customer enquiries.

Role & Responsibilities of the Credit Control Team Manager:

* Motivate, coach and develop all team members through planned call monitoring, evaluation sessions, one to one’s, coaching and feedback with remote and side by side monitoring

* Identify knowledge and skills gaps and work alongside the contact centre trainer to ensure that training is delivered to the team

* Conduct annual appraisals, setting and agreeing objectives and targets.

* To conduct Quality Audits across the contact centre alongside the other managers in the centre, providing feedback to agents and managers with a view to improving customer service and first-time resolution

* Developing a performance orientated culture & ongoing evaluation against agreed objectives

* Conducting investigations and disciplinary hearings within the Flogas guidelines

* Demonstrates an ability to engage with all members of their team

* Supports the contact centre manager to deliver business objectives

* Act as the first stage escalation point for customer complaints

* Identify improvements in current processes to support the development of the customer service delivery

* To be an advocate of the company behaviours and values and proactively embed this within your team

* Managing the team’s performance on outbound campaigns to take ownership forteam targets, pursuing overdue debt on a portfolio of accounts

* Authorising release of orders where credit limits have been exceeded or accounts have been placed “on stop” (in accordance with pre-determined guidelines)

* Working with other departments to resolve queries and disputes causing payment delays

* Reporting on and managing reconciliations to minimize unallocated cash. Ensuring that the team work on exceeded credit limits and on manual stops reports.

* Timely and accurate completion productivity reports for the team

* Annual objectives which will include achievement of the KPI’s for the team.

About You as the Credit Control Team Manager:

* Management experience essential.

* Credit Control – debt chasing experience is essential to this role.

* Excellent customer service, time management and telephone skills.

* Experience of dealing with a high volume of customer accounts and associated call volume.

* Numerate & a strong negotiator and query resolution ability.

* Ability to make decisions within designated agreed levels of authority.

* Proficient in MS Outlook, Word & Excel.

* Proven credit control team leader/supervisor experience minimum 1 year.

* Team player and target driven.

* Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written).

* Credit control experience in a high incoming telephone call environment minimum 2 years’ experience.

* Portfolio management of c12000 Customer Accounts.

* Knowledge of Domestic Debit collection and Management.
