Wolviston are hiring experienced multi-disciplined planners, with extensive experience of working on top tier COMAH Sites with experience in iCura planning system and knowledge of Primavera.

A permanent opportunity in Teesside supporting a portfolio of construction projects, producing job packages for mini, midi & major overhauls on site.

Duties/Responsibilities

Plan defects, routines and modifications for mini, midi & major o/hauls for a designated area ensuring compliance to the defined standards & procedures.

Identify materials, subcontractor & specialist resources requirements as required & compile all supporting documentation associated with the task to ensure job packs are of the required standard.

Specify man hours and interfaces with other disciplines to allow a detailed schedule to be produced.

Liaise with the Overhaul schedulers to produce a detailed schedule in Primavera based on product to product duration for each event and identify resource profiles and resolve workface interaction issues.

Organise and lead the weekly area overhaul meetings with the virtual teams and manage the action control lists.

Review the initial worklist to identify jobs requiring lift plans, long lead material items, JSA’s and major tasks and monitor the progress of these items regularly.

Plan all emergent work & liaise with the purchasing, workshop and contractor organisations to ensure all materials are specified, ordered, delivered and that fabrication work is planned & specified to meet the schedule end date.

The Mini and Midi events are high profile for the Cassel Site and safe, on time, on budget delivery is key and the planner plays a key role in this process.

Work within an overhaul consist of jobs that cover all combinations of trade disciplines & the job holder must have a thorough understanding of all of these disciplines & a knowledge of the contract organisations who supply the resources.

The planner may be working on several overhauls at the same time, at different stages. A good overview of status, progress & the ability to manage & resolve issues is required by the job holder.

The execution phase of an overhaul is a highly intensive period of work often necessitating working hours in excess of the normal contractual arrangements and the job holder needs to be able to adopt a flexible approach during this time.

The role requires interaction with a wide range of internal & external personnel at varying levels in the organisation (contractors, operations, SHE, projects etc.) & the role holder must have the ability to effectively interact and influence these groups.

Quality planning is key to the success of any overhaul. This requires in depth knowledge of the work content, the plant area, the relationships between jobs and the ability to work within a team to focus on optimisation of the schedule.

In the overhaul execution phase the job holder will form part of the cell team and will plan any emergent work that is created during the course of the event
