Location: Outskirts of Swindon

Salary: Negotiable

Hours: 9:00- 17:30

We are excited to be assisting our client to recruit an Accounts Assistant for their busy vibrant office located on the outskirts of Swindon

Responsibilities and Tasks:

* Opening Post & distributing to correct person/department

* Daily communication with suppliers by phone & e-mail.

* Printing Invoices / Statements sent via e-mail.

* Distributing emailed Invoices to relevant Managers/Departments

* Coding / Processing Overhead invoices on a bespoke database, checking cost is correct against the P/O Log.

* Checking Purchase Invoices against accruals the system & Charge spreadsheets.

* Querying job related Invoices with relevant Account managers and Suppliers

* Chase / request copies of any missing invoices.

* Weekly / Monthly payment runs.

* Processing orders that require payment using Credit Card.

* E-mailing customer statements.

* Filing of Purchase /Overhead and Sales invoices.

* Assist in anything else that maybe required within the Accounts Department .

Person Specification

* Flexible approach

* Reliable with Good time keeping

* Good team player

* Attention to detail

* Good communication skills

* Good computer/keyboard skills (Word/Excel)

* Own car and full driving licence is essential for this role owing to location.
