FINANCE MANAGER (PART TIME 20-25HOURS) IN DERBYSHIRE - JOB REF: JO17224
Accountancy Elite are partnered with a fantastic business services provider in Derbyshire. Due to the businesses unparalleled reputation in this marketplace and continued expansion they are looking to take on a finance manager part time to provide structure and oversee the accounting functions of the business. The perfect candidate for this role would be ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or working towards their qualification although QBE candidates will be welcomed. They will also have previous experience in a similar role providing the accounting function of an SME.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

·Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts and annual reports.
·Implement financial plans.
·Reconcile balance sheets.
·Manage cash and bank balances including on-line banking, bacs payments and collection of direct debits and petty cash .
·Handle debtors.
·Management of credit card sales and analysis of payments.
·Produce and monitor cash flow statements.
·Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction.
·Develop external relationships and liaise with third parties, for example; accountants, bankers, Inland Revenue.
·Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
·Ensure that all transactional, payroll and VAT/ taxation requirements are met.
·Posting invoices, book keeping, payment of creditors.
·Payroll.
·Identify improvements in the working processes and implement.
·Keep on top of changes in regulation and legislation and new industry developments.

Candidates Attributes:

·ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified would be an advantage but part qualified and QBE candidates will also be very much welcome.
·Maintain confidentiality at all times.
·Excellent eye for detail, diligent knowledge of accounting regulations.
·Ability to report to senior managers.
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
·Flexible and a team player.
·Good working knowledge of Sage and MS packages.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience and value added.
Pension: Auto enrollment.
Benefits: Benefits package to be discussed at interview stage.
Working hours: Part time 20-25 hours
Holiday: 28 days including statutory bank holidays increasing with length of service.
