Veritas are currently looking for a Level 2/3 Qualified Teaching Assistant for a long-term role starting in January 2019 on an ongoing basis with the potential going permanent, within an SEMH Secondary School in Chorley.

You shall be required to work full time providing support on a 1:1 basis with a KS2 pupil with autism within an SEMH Secondary School. You may also be required to deliver pre-prepared work set on an intervention basis. You will be helping and supporting the pupil to develop their learning as the pupil is working below the national average.

This SEMH Secondary School is keen to meet with a Teaching Assistant who has previous experience supporting SEN children and experience in a similar role. Team Teach Qualification is also highly desirable.

The SEMH Secondary School aims to provide the highest standards of teaching and learning so that all children can achieve their academic potential. They ensure that they foster and develop the social and emotional well-being of their children as well as concentrating on developing the potential of their staff.

The SEMH Secondary School is based in Chorley just off the M65 with free parking, additionally if you are on pubic transport there is regular buses with the nearest bus stop located 5 minutes from the SEMH Secondary School.
