The Integration Manager shall be responsible for the transition of the construction site from the CPC Project Construction Phase through Commissioning and on to Process Operations.
The Integration Manager will ensure all work is carried out safely, to quality, cost and time and that the appropriate legislative requirements are met.
He/she will be responsible for the controlling of works activities and maintaining a works control centre, originally within the Principle Contractors (PC) F10 site. They will manage the transition of the control of works from the Construction PC to the Client ensuring a robust system is in place that has been fully briefed to all those carrying out work activities.
They will be responsible for interfacing with the Principle Contractor, the Project Team and the Client to facilitate the transition into an operational site.
The integration Manager will manage the issue of permits and the control of day to day works activities on the construction site.

Key Accountabilities:
The EC&I Engineer is accountable to the CPC Project Engineering Manager and is responsible for the delivery of the EC&I aspects of the specialist area works.

Key Responsibilities:
The role is required to provide additional EC&I support to an Integrated Project Team required to oversee the design completion, installation and commissioning of a major process plant.
The role will include oversight of design completion, management of construction and commissioning TQ's.
The primary objective of the role is to provide high calibre, robust EC&I support to a strong but overstretched function.
Ensure that vendor submitted designs comply with applicable legislative requirements, design standards and codes of practice.
Ensuring designs effectively meet the requirements of Safety Functional Requirements (SFR) and production of design/engineering substantiation thereof.

Engineering Degree educated (Electrical).
Chartered Status (Preferable).
Relevant experience will be associated with the delivery of complex process plant ensuring designs adequately meet regulatory and production product requirements, this will include delivery through the provision of engineering management and support through installation and commissioning phases.
Full member of an appropriate Engineering Institute.

Extensive knowledge of nuclear site licence conditions
Extensive knowledge in safe working practices and safety administration.
Extensive knowledge of working in commercial and industrial environments.
Extensive knowledge of design guides and safety principles.
Working knowledge of legislation, standards and codes of practice associated with construction activities.
Working knowledge of test and commissioning requirements.
Working knowledge of control of works through a permit to work system.

Direct experience in the design, installation and commissioning of a wide verity of equipment, processes and safety systems.
Practical experience of working under Nuclear Site Licence Conditions.
Experience producing technical and process specifications with respect to process or equipment requirements.
Previous experience designing, manufacturing and implementation of high hazard process plant and equipment is essential.
Nuclear sector experience is essential, knowledge of Nuclear and Conventional safety requirements is essential.
10+ Years industrial engineering and team leadership within the manufacturing or process engineering sectors.

Computer literate, with experience in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
Good oral, written and presentational skills including ability to produce high standard documentation.
Good interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
Ability to plan and schedule work activities.
Ability to foresee problems and provide solutions.
Cost and Schedule awareness, demonstrating the ability to manage a package of work to cost and schedule (value circa £15m)
A pre-requisite for the position is a willingness to take hold of an issue and manage it so a pro-active and flexible work ethic is essential.
Possess a high degree of technical competence.
Skilled and experienced in the management of the delivery of complex engineering solutions from external companies.
Have sufficient technical competence to technically review supply chain design documentation and deliverables, feeding back comments and corrective actions.

Clear concise and fluent communicator, unambiguous in exchanging information at all levels.
Learn from others and disseminate gained knowledge.
Undertake continual personal development (CPD).
Work effectively with others towards common goals.
Able to work on own initiative without close supervision.

Special Requirements
Fit and able to work on a nuclear licenced site.
SC Clearance (Mandatory).
CSCS Card Holder (or equivalent)
