The Vice President, Supply Chain will lead and be accountable for inventory planning and supply, distribution and manufacturing. This position provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organisation with the objective of maximising growth and profitability as well as day-to-day leadership and management to Supply Chain Operations.

- Able to Coordinate and Stabling Supply Chain Areas at Senior Level.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Contribute to and lead strategies and policies in supply chain, inventory and distribution management, streamlining, cost-reduction, production and materials planning, process improvement, team-building and supervision, and process optimisation aligned with organisational goals. Manages operations by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
* Manage a sustainable S&OP process.
* Implement improved processes and management methods to optimise workflow.
* Develop and manage departmental budgets.
* Maintain effective relationships suppliers and logistics including 3PL warehousing relationships ensuring adherence to agreed KPI.
* Direct senior staff on contract negotiations and implementation of all third party logistics relationships.
* Oversight of ocean freight, international air freight and all other domestic freight negotiations and rates.
* Customer and vendor chargeback management and corrective action initiatives.
* People Management to include the demonstrated ability to hire the best people and motivate and grow high performance teams. Mentor, coach and train the teams and build the required competencies for success. Able to voice opinions, debate and disagree, but will also respect current processes and final decisions.
