Commencing- ASAP/ Jan 2019

Salary- From £60 - £75/day

Location- Loughborough

Contract Type- Permanent/ Long Term for the right candidate

Are you looking for your next support role within special education needs?

If so, GSL Education are working in conjunction with a client school in Loughborough to recruit a number of Level 2 and 3 Teaching Assistants.

The school is looking for a dedicated SEN teaching assistant (TA) that is able to support children on 1:1 basis with Team Teach experience.

Requirements:

* Are passionate about children’s learning and every child achieving their potential

* Have lots of energy, enthusiasm and patience

* Are flexible and can work well within a team

* Have experience of working with children with a variety of needs and from a range of different backgrounds#

* Can show resilience in challenging situations

* Are looking for a challenge

* Understand the need for confidentiality

* Are qualified to GCSE English and Math Grade C or equivalent

* Are willing to work with a child and other children with Special Educational Needs

Qualification:

* Have a level 2, 3 or 4 CACHE certificate

* Team Teach Certificate is essential

* SEND experience is desirable but not essential for all positions

* You would be responsible for the supporting the teacher and helping the pupils (groups and 1:1 basis)

* Ensure that the objectives set by the teacher are met.

* Support pupils throughout the lesson, answering questions and overcoming difficulties they encounter

To be eligible for this role you must:

* Hold the Right to Work in the UK

* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application

* Provide two professional child related references
