The Role
The Customer Services Representative role would be based in the main Sales office in a busy, fast paced environment!

Key Skills required:
- Accuracy on entering of customer data. i.e. Orders
- Good telephone etiquette
- Directing Customer Service issues to the correct channels
- Rapport Building with clients via the phone to increase loyalty and spend
- Your commitment to deliver outstanding quality and results that exceed client expectations.

- To be able to conduct proactive telephone calls to increase client spend and order value, through selling of offers.
- To work well as part of the team and support the team effort to achieve sales targets.
- Accountability to Sales Management and Directors.

- Organisation and prioritization skills to ensure customers' needs are met.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Upselling products on the phone to increase order value.

Main Responsibilities, tasks & duties:
- Taking Customer Orders Via the Telephone, Email, and Fax.
- Processing orders with 100% accuracy onto our ERP platform then sending out customer order acknowledgments confirming delivery dates.
- Keeping customers informed at every point if an issue arises or delivery dates change
- Dealing with customer enquiries in a timely manner, quoting if necessary or passing through to a Key Account Manager or Area Sales Representative.
- Responding to Customer requests where applicable or directing to the correct department in a timely manner.
- Proactive selling of product offers and monthly deals to increase customer spend and order value
- Upselling to customers over the phone on specific offers or to increase order value
- Administering customer pricing ongoing in the system to ensure there are minimal price queries and making sure these are kept as up to date as possible.
- Supporting Area Sales managers to win new business wherever required with sending out samples etc.
- Setting up of new customer accounts in OrderWise where required.
- Processing card payments for Proforma accounts
- Ensuring the Sales inbox is maintained and always up to date at the end of each day
- Dealing with Customer Service issues, collections and returns.
- Chasing couriers or suppliers where needed to ensure customer needs are met
- Servicing customers/Suppliers visiting reception or collection point.
- Processing of consignment stock orders.
- To assist the team at trade events/shows where required.

£18,000 + Company Performance Bonus
