Under the direction of a new Head this school has made huge steps forward and they are now taking applications for Design Technology / Resistant Material Teachers for January.

The school is a well-lit, purpose built, modern building with superb facilities. Staff and students benefit from the specialist equipment, pragmatic SLT and a unified teaching team. We are looking for
• A competent and capable DT teacher who can deliver DT to KS3 & 4 with excellent subject knowledge.
• A driven and enthusiastic practitioner who can deliver varied and engaging lessons.

You will be responsible for teaching classes in KS3 & 4, with the option to teach KS5 available if desired, as well as being given pastoral responsibility with a form group. You will be working closely with the HOD to ensure consistency and continuity is delivered across all areas of the department. With the potential for growth, development and promotion within the department and school, this is a great opportunity for a career-minded teacher.

Based within a short drive of Junction 11 on the M1 and with staff parking and good transport links via bus and train.

To join this successful and integral department in September you will need to:
-Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
-You will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
