Hewitt Britton are seeking a Sales Support Administrator / Junior Underwriter for our finance client based in Alton.
They are seeking someone that is computer literate (MS Office) coupled with good written and verbal communication skills. A high level of attention to detail is a must as you’ll be making decisions regarding finance applications. Finance experience is not necessary (although it would be a bonus) as full training is provided by the client. The role is varied and will include marketing, customer service, sales and administrative duties.
Duties include:
Processing customers’ finance applications made via the Internet, fax or over the phone
Liaising confidently and competently with customers and finance companies
Dealing effectively and professionally with telephone, email and fax enquiries from customers and dealers
Monitoring systems and databases, updating computer records
Marketing to customers via post, email and text
Processing documents and e-mail enquiries
Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
Shredding documents to protect personal information
Assisting with any ad-hoc work or projects as requested
General office duties
They are open 7 days a week, therefore some weekend work will be necessary. You will be required to work 4 weekend days in a month (this could be less during quieter periods), you will however receive a day in lieu for every weekend day worked. They are offering a very competitive salary along with 22 days holiday and a Christmas shopping day
