Associate Product Manager - Maidenhead, Berkshire

Salary: 30k - 35k D.O.E

Our client is an innovator in SaaS based IT Asset Intelligence since 2008, they help companies lacking clarity around IT inventory, usage, license liability, and even asset location.

The Role

As a Product Executive you will be responsible for supporting the Product Management function in the development of product through the entire product life cycle. This will include working with internal and external stakeholders to perform research, write requirements and support users of the software. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with customers using a combination of personal representation and electronic media.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Interpret business focused ideas and translate into development requirements
- Create detailed business requirements and user stories, both functional and non-functional
- Monitor products feature status throughout their life cycle
- Creating wireframes/mock-ups to explain requirements
- Perform User Acceptance Testing against business requirements
- Develop a good understanding of competitive landscape
- Work closely with marketing colleagues for launches, promotions and campaigns
- Work with UX and engineering teams on product enhancements

Essential Requirements:

- Graduate or equivalent work experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written English)
- Analytical and technical aptitude
- Show initiative, have confidence and be inquisitive
- A natural ability to work in cross functional teams
- Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML / Javascript)
- Understanding of the principles for cloud-based platforms that include SaaS
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
- University degree, Computer Science or similar (or equivalent work experience)
