We are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper to assist in managing the day-to-day accounting and book keeping for our Client in the Tipton area. Will be working closely with our Clients existing accounts staff in our small office environment but will mainly focus on customer accounts. Duties include: Accountable for handling all cash Balance and maintain daily petty cash Check sales orders and process invoices Post customer receipts and update sales ledger Prepare bank deposits Check supplier invoices and make payments recording all transactions in the cash book/petty cash receipts Month end clear down by producing customer statements and escalating debtors report Payroll and wages analysis Reconcile cash book against bank statements and liaise with company accountant and director Reconcile monthly petty cash Qualifications/Skills Must be experienced in working in book keeping, general ledger and payroll reports Have a strong knowledge of accounting principles Be experience with data entry and record keeping Be computer literate in Sage 50 Accounts and Microsoft office Must be trustworthy and reliable.Have great organisation skills. Able to demonstrate accuracy and good attention to detail. Able to provide exceptional customer service skills.
