This leading UK training provider is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated IT Contracts manager with excellent, organisation, communication and stakeholder management skills to manage all aspects of it's IT contracts. The client is becoming reliant on technology to deliver a first-class training experience to its customers. Increasingly they need to meet contractual and compliance obligations for both existing customers and in securing new clients.

This role offers the chance to extend your knowledge of all contractual and compliance aspects of IT and technology in general. This is a new high profile role, reporting directly into the CTO, and will appeal to people who have worked either in legal, procurement or client facing legal roles.

The primary responsibilities are: -

- Reviewing, negotiating and administering contracts with clients and suppliers in relation to IT, Security & Compliance and Data Protection
- Be the primary contact point for clients and suppliers regarding contractual or compliance related matters. This would include due diligence, requests for information (RFI), coordinating audits and providing updates on data processing arrangements
- Co-ordinate, with IT technical specialists, client tenders, contract reviews and RFI's
- Manage the assessment of requests from business stakeholders that may impact contractual or compliance obligations.
- Manage Security & Privacy Impact Assessment services
- Manage and improve IT contract management practices and procedures


- A proven track record of managing IT contracts, ideally for both clients and vendors based on considerable experience of reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts ideally with a heavy IT component.
- Working within a legal team or IT dept. with contractual/compliance responsibilities
- Strong business and commercial focus
- Exceptional comms. and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to explain and simplify client and supplier contractual obligations with technical and non-technical colleagues of all levels of seniority
- Understanding of UK and EU data protection laws, regulations & GDPR
- Basic understanding of Information Risk Management
- Ability to work autonomously, adapt to changing circumstances and deliver according to tight deadlines and client commitments
- Team player comfortable communicating at all levels
- Results focused with a strong work ethic, highly motivated and equally comfortable giving and/or taking direction

The following an advantage, but are not essential: -

- A working knowledge of I.S.M. practices and ISO 27001
- Contractual aspects of cloud tech and software


A salary is offered circa £45k-£55k plus a full and flexible benefits package including 25 days' holiday, pension, healthcare, life insurance etc. The client also offers flexible working hours and the option to work at home. The role is advertised as a full-time post but the client would consider applicants looking for part time working.
