Annual salary up to £55,000 DOE + benefits Harvey Nash is joining with a global software and services company who have a significant presence. The company is at the forefront of their industry developing software which is widely adopted by many blue chip organisations. Our client is looking to bring in a talented IT Project Manager to join their offices in Fife, on a permanent basis, to lead and deliver on a number of large and complex projects. The role: You will be responsible for the planning, managing and delivering large scale, complex customer delivery projects as well as internal change management activities. You will work in tandem with all internal functions to continuously develop and enhance the practices of project management. Developing and managing effective KPI's as well as coaching and mentoring your project team to enable them to succeed. Working closely with customers, key internal stakeholders and project contributors to ensure that expectation is set and managed, timelines are adhered to and business priorities are met. About you: To be successful in this role you have a solid track record in delivering end to end projects, preferably with implementing new software onto a customer site. Experience of working within financial services would be advantageous as well as experience in the following: * Prince 2 Practitioner * Demonstrable experience working closely with software development teams * Strong end to end project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects at once * Experience or exposure to an Agile development environment * Be able to demonstrate past projects of a large and complex nature * Self-supportive with a high degree of initiative & eagerness, requiring minimal management You must have experience with industry standard principles, methods, techniques and tools as you'll be expected to deliver robust reporting back to the business on a regular basis. As well as solid skills in risk management methods and techniques and you'll need to be able to use the relevant tools and techniques associated with the planning and monitoring of project progress.
