Protocol Education are seeking Teachers and Tutors for a local alternative provision with a large and established Hospital Teaching provision, which caters for pupils aged 5 to 16. The students have a variety of needs, often complex, including those with relate to both mental and physical health. The role involves working within a supportive and enthuastic team to deliver outreach education on either a Home Outreach or Hospital basis, generally 1:1 or in very small groups.

It also consists of teaching core subjects and assessing pupils progress, reporting back progress to be including in the pupils case study, so good administration skills are a neccessity.

You will need:

Experience of working with pupils with SEMH and Medical Needs

A current clear enhanced DBS which is on the update service

Be able to provide the last 3 years working references

Be organised, approachable and flexible

Access to own transport, as the role does involve multi-site working.
