FP&A Senior Analyst 9-12 month Fixed Term Contract Inchcape is a leading global automotive distributor and retailer operating in the premium vehicle sector, based in 33 international markets. As part of Inchcape Retail’s wider Finance team, you will bring your passion for putting the customer first to the Financial Planning & Analysis team and aid management decision making. In addition, you will develop an in depth knowledge of the business and use this knowledge along with your past experience to add value to all that you do. You will embrace the challenge of working in a diverse multi-franchise business of significant scale (UK turnover c.£3bn) with a matrixed decision making structure and wide geographic footprint. The role of the FP&A Senior Analyst is to support the FP&A Manager in the consolidation and preparation of budgets, forecast and strategic plans; and to prepare and produce reporting that assists with the telling of the Commercial story behind the plans. The key objectives of the role are; Key Responsibilities Playing a key role supporting the FP&A Manager in preparing strategic plans, budgets and forecasts for submission to Plc Preparing presentations on UK Retail and IUK Total performance for various audiences Producing detailed analysis on all aspects of UK Retail and IUK Total performance Developing reporting/analysis that highlights performance trends Being the key point of contact on BPC and the development of templates for forecast/budget submissions Accountable for managing our working capital and cashflow positions Lead and manage the relationship with our local banking partners both for Retail banking and stock funding and manage the relationship between the UK Finance team and Plc Treasury department Playing a key role in the budgeting, forecasting and strategic plan processes including ensuring efficient consolidation of inputs and clear analysis of drivers of future performance Preparation of financial and non-financial presentations that provide a clear and consistent message for Inchcape UK Preparation of commercially focused analysis through the provision of reliable and robust ad hoc data Integral to the design and maintenance of budgeting/forecasting templates and acting as a key point of contact to end users Becoming a BPC super-user with detailed knowledge and skills to assist in the further development of this software Production of cashflow forecasts for UK Retail and develop the accuracy and insightfulness of these forecasts To manage the stock forecasting process and working capital position Responsible for the development and preparation of the monthly MI pack production To fully embrace and assist with systems development in the UK Finance team that will radically improve the speed and efficiency of reporting and allow for greater analysis Responding to ad hoc tasks as requested by the UK Financial Controller and wider senior finance team both internally and externally by gathering, analysing and interpreting data To build strong working relationships with the wider Finance and Operational teams Core skills and experience required Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with 1-2 years relevant FP&A / reporting experience Strong Excel skills including utilising excel tools to improve and build models, pivot tables and report writing using macros Proven track record of delivery with high attention to detail and accuracy Ability to build relationships and influence at all levels Ability to achieve objectives in the face of resistance and ambiguity, whilst maintaining strong relationships Proactive, able to operate on your own initiative and drive your own success Ability to operate in a fast paced and changing environment and the ability to prioritise workload and manage the expectations of the stakeholders Excellent verbal/written communication skills Click Here To Apply https://inchcape.mua.hrdepartment.com/pm_module/cgi-bin/click.cgi?job_id=14205&site_id=35
