Are you AAT qualified? Do you have experience with management accounts, annual returns, VAT returns and payroll? Are you looking for a new challenge where you are given the freedom to take ownership of your role and perform an integral part of a company?

I am recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to work for my client based in Norwich. Due to the location of the role, your own transport would be a benefit. Car parking is available.

You will be assisting with all Accounting matters relating to the company and its subsidiaries within the group. As well as being AAT qualified (at least part), you will need to have experience with all aspects of the finance function and be familiar with all aspects of SAGE accounting packages.

Your duties will include:

-Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts

-Producing year end audit files

-Maintenance of fixed assets and posting depreciation

-Weekly bank account and control account reconciliations

-Accruals and prepayments

-Journal processing

-Posting stock adjustments

-Intercompany recharges and reconciliation

-Weekly cash flow

-Prepare annual returns

-Producing draft VAT return from SAGE

-Submission of quarterly and monthly VAT returns and payment to HMRC

-Monthly payroll

This is a full time permanent position working Monday-Friday 9-5.30pm with an hour for lunch.
