We are working with a UK wide Construction business who, due to an internal promotion, are recruiting for a new Finance Manager. The role will involved both transactional and detailed work requirements, working closely with the FD to provide financial and commercial analysis to ensure the business reaches its objectives and targets.
The role will involve the following
*Regional performance management - liasion with regional and central board teams.
*Monthly production forecasts.
*Year end tax analysis
*control of capital expenditure and monthly divisional overhead reports
*Monthly management reporting
*Management and mentoring of a Graduate reporting to you
You will be a management accountant currently in a similar role (or ready for the next step) but looking to join a business that can be really interesting. Construction in the UK, and the South West in particular, is extremely busy at the moment and this company have projects and joint ventures which are guaranteed so the next 4-5 years will only get busier as the fulfil those - and win some more!
Personally you are likely to be a University Graduate with CIMA/ACA/ACCA with a good exposure to financial systems like Oracle, Coins, SAP or similar. Obviously any exposure to the Construction or Development/House Build arena will be benefical but more important is the need to be intellectually curious and can identify opportunity for better process etc, and most importantly has excellent communication skills as finance is the key to the business success and will liaise with everyone from the CEO down.
The package is betweek £50-60k + car aloowance, Bonus and corporate package. They will also pay relocation for the right candidate
