Due to the continued growth of our Web/Digital platforms at Pavers we have an exciting new opportunity for an Online Trading Specialist/Conversion Optimisation Specialist to join our E-Commerce and Marketing teams at our Head Office in York (Northminster Business Park).
Salary: Circa £30,000 plus bonus and benefits which include staff discounts and free onsite parking
This role is integral to driving forward our digital/online revenue and formulating and implementing a testing and optimisation roadmap for both of our online platforms - (url removed) and (url removed).
Key Responsibilities
Identify, report and drive revenue opportunities to both the Pavers and Jones Bootmaker websites
Manage the user experience of the website including site navigation, content development, check out and promotional campaigns
Create and manage the conversion rate optimisation strategy using best practice
Create specifications and implement A/B, MVT tests
Deliver recommendations to improve organic SEO performance
Identify opportunities and manage the external Digital Marketing agencies to support PLA, Affiliate, Retargeting and Social campaigns
Use analytics to review customer journeys and plan and test improvements
Work alongside copywriters to ensure product and web copy is optimised for natural SEO
Work alongside designers and developers to prioritise and implement web changes
Create user research using user testing amongst others
Report on sales, site and channel performance to maximise product availability and positioning Requirements
Significant commercial experience in a Digital Marketing environment driving revenue through online (ideally in a Multi-Channel Retail business)
Experience and Knowledge of SEO and UX Best Practices
Experience using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Optimize or similar
Proven experience in driving revenue through AB and MVT testing
Experience of analysis and hindsight reporting with actionable results and impact to the business.
Excellent organisational skills
A strong test and learn approach, understanding what the customer needs.
Commercially aware and customer focused
Comfortable using technical tools and systems
Ability to analyse information and propose actions as a result
Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, pro-active and open to change
Self-motivated with the ability to identify problems and demonstrate use of initiative
Experience of shopify based sites would be beneficial but is not essential
Some knowledge of men and women's fashion
Ability to work quickly and efficiently with accuracy and strong attention to detail About Us
