The principle purpose of the role is to to implement governance and engagement around project management in the delivery of our digital strategy. Responsibilities will include managing and controlling the effective and efficient design and delivery of digital IT transformation projects. This includes ensuring projects are managed professionally using appropriate project management techniques to ensure completion to agreed timescales, quality and budget. Proven evidence of experience in successfully influencing senior managers. Have a detailed knowledge of project management methodologies and substantive experience in IT project planning, delivery and control and will have experience of using Microsoft Project or similar Project management software. Hold the Prince2 Practitioner and comprehensive up to date knowledge of Prince2 methodologies or hold an equivalent Project Management qualification. Hold a relevant degree or the equivalent experience. Able to demonstrate significant experience of leading, developing, managing and delivering large scale digital transformation IT projects. This will include the interpretation of business needs into technical requirements. Experienced in agile, coupled with technical experience in CRM & ERP. Possess excellent interpersonal skills, with strong influential skills and be able to influence without direct authority. Desirable Skills Digital IT Projects. Large transformation projects.
