A New Business Manager / Business Development Manager is needed to join a prestigious brand design and communications agency based in Clerkenwell (EC1). Focussing mainly on the financial, legal and professional services sectors, they are now seeking a New Business Manager / Business Development Manager to help them expand into new markets.

For 10 years our client has worked almost exclusively with global, corporate clients predominantly in B2B sectors. To date their portfolio has expanded organically, keeping them busy working on major projects for a small number of large companies. They are now ready to change the pace and are aiming to build a higher profile, pursuing a more diverse range of clients types, sizes and sectors both in the UK and Europe. They work within a great creative space 5 minutes walk from Farringdon Tube and pride themselves on their collaborative approach, making all members of the team essential to the business' overall success.

The New Business Manager / Business Development Manager will be pivotal in the agency's growth and development into new industry sectors. As the primary source of driving new business within the agency you will play a vital key role supporting both brand exposure and future growth into new sectors.

Reporting to the Creative Director (but working closely with the whole team) the New Business Manager / Business Development Manager will be responsible for the creation and execution of the business development strategy, defining a clear approach to targeting new sources of business and exploiting their current market presence. Whether you are working with the team to develop and deliver marketing plans, managing a PR and SEO agency or researching and identifying new client leads you will enjoy a varied workload and will be hungry to deliver impressive results.

To qualify... Whether you are a New Business Manager / New Business Executive / Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / Sales Manager / Account Manager / Senior Account Manager or similar we don't mind, your CV just needs to demonstrate:

  • Experience in planning and executive new business strategies;
  • A history of successfully hitting sales targets ideally within a similar agency environment;
  • Experience in formulating targeted plans for expansion into new business sectors;
  • An entrepreneurial approach to development sales base;
  • Management of social media strategies;
  • Management of client reporting records;
  • You are literate, business savvy with a passion for perfection.
