Pensions Administrator – 6 MONTH CONTRACT Salary c£19,000 - £22,000 PRO-RATA Excellent Benefits

Based – Preston

Our client is the leading UK Pensions Administration provider, we are searching for a dedicated PENSIONS administrator to support a range of Clients. The role will involve reviewing and analysing pension data and carrying our pension calculations and revisions to update member records, communicating directly with members both verbally and in writing and reporting back to the project sponsor on progress.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

* To handle key aspects of the reconciliation process project including pension revisions, member communications, record updating, data entry and data analysis
* To produce relevant and accurate pensions calculations and to adopt a “right first
* time” approach to minimise errors and to produce high quality work
* Participate in initiatives for ongoing service improvement
* Utilise the various IT systems in use (Microsoft Office, ALTAIR, CASE, and FISH)
* Calculating pension revisions and preparing communications
* Ensuring all records are kept up to date with accurate data
* Ensure the timely completion of caseloads in periods of high workflow
* Keeping up to date with the changes in pension law and legislation
* Fully or part qualified in Defined Benefit Pensions

Candidate Skills and Experience required:

* Practical experience in a pensions admin role
* 5 GCSE’s minimum including maths and English
* Effective team worker as Strong mathematics skills, ability to undertake manual pensions calculations
* Able to interpret and apply complex pensions regulations
* The ability to proactively plan, manage and review own individual daily high workload
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* Effective numerical and analytical skills, with proven capability in the use of Word, Excel (to a minimum of intermediate level)
