Role Summary: Reporting into the Finance Operations Manager, playing an active part in the finance team and supporting the Customer Service department in the collection and processing of late payments. Specific duties will include: Collecting late payments. Arranging collection of assets where appropriate. Processing ‘novations’ where appropriate. Completing administrative tasks as necessary, during the life of the contract. Monitoring customer payment performance. Dealing with Customer Service enquiries (e.g. Acquis/settlements/statements/VAT). Escalating issues and complaints in a timely manner. Experience required: Organised, able to prioritise. Strong analytical skills (financial and other information/searches). Good knowledge of compliance requirements. Good commercial judgement. Previous experience in a credit control environment. Approachable (internal and external relationships). Personal Attributes: Able to use your own initiative as well as working effectively as part of a team. This role could suit a Graduate looking to move into a Financial Services business or someone who already has some credit control experience. Good work ethic. Good problem-solving skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload. Able to communicate confidently and knowledgeably on the telephone. High attention to detail, accurate and thorough. Self-motivated individual with ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Desire to develop in role including supported external courses/qualifications.
