Job Purpose:
This position will support the Head of MI, the Motor Service Director and Operations managers to provide statistical analysis of customer data to ensure that SLA’s and business objectives are met. The successful candidate should be able to quickly acquire a detailed understanding and knowledge of the reporting and analysis tools used within the business to enhance, streamline and update current reporting solutions.
This position would suit someone of a strong analytical mind-set who has experience of using database management, excel, tableau. They should not be afraid to challenge the current processes in order to make recommended improvements in order to improve efficiencies or customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* To work to priorities as set by the Head of MI and Insights and Motor Services Director, in order to contribute to the achievement of objectives, service levels and provide excellent customer service
* To quickly acquire a detailed understanding and knowledge of the reporting and analysis tools used in Motor and Property.
* To produce standard reports on Excel/Tableau as per agreed schedule or on request.
* Undertake the design and coding of MI reports for different suppliers.
* Extract and manipulate large volumes of data
* Use your technical skills to enhance, streamline and update current reporting solutions
* Produce all routine SLA performance packs
* Standardise MI reporting across the company's customer base
* Working with Head of Business Services and Motor Services Director to develop new MI and make enhancements to the company's current reporting solution
* Working with Group IT to develop systems to deliver new and improved MI capability.
* To assist with testing of various new tool and troubleshooting / defect fixing of any existing tools as and when required using root cause analysis
* To use initiative and make suggestions that might contribute to overall effectiveness.

Knowledge & Skills Required:
* Educated to A-level (Maths, Statistics preferred) or equivalent.
* Experience of database management, excel, tableau.
* Training and or equivalent work experience relating to MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, MS Access, Tableau and data analysis
* Experience of a customer service focused, process & data driven environment
* Experience in Key performance Indicators (KPI) and Service Level (SLA) driven environment.
* Strong analytical and problem solving skills
* A passion for identifying real insight to help the business make key business decisions
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors and issues in reporting
* Experience of Oracle and/or MS SQL Server preferred
* A good knowledge and understanding of analytical tools, data analysis principles and quantitative methodologies used to gain insights into the data and present findings to the audience in question.
* Experience of Avaya or Mitel phone systems would be beneficial
