Implementation Engineer - Watton
Salary - £25,000-£26,000 per annum

My client are a globally renowned designer and manufacturer of electric process heating and control systems.

This is a new position within an expanding research and development department in a company that manufactures predominantly hazardous area electric heating equipment for a variety of industrial markets.

To work with the R&D Engineers ensuring that the goals and objectives of the department are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

To liaise with other departments including production, marketing and sales to ensure smooth transition of information to the engineers and new products from R&D into production.

Duties/Responsibilities:

·Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure the new product specifications are correct and finalised before transferring the project into R&D.
·Work with the engineers to ensure projects are correctly planned and identify key milestones.
·Create processes to guarantee the seamless transition of new products into manufacture ensuring future projects always run at an improved capacity.
·Work with marketing on an array of material for each product, consider new product launches and exhibition displays.
·Generate documentation required at various project stages to allow third party approvals and internal handover for manufacture.
·Compile feedback from various departments and manage changes in project scope and design.
· Review departmental processes and procedures to identify any shortfalls.

Skills and experience required:

·Experience implementing new products to factory production.
·Must be very organised and enjoy putting procedures in place and helping ensure they are maintained and followed.
·Approachable and able to work with people from all levels within the business including senior management.
·Vocal, and able to get ideas out on paper, and across to other people.
·Good technical understanding with regard to mechanical engineering.
·Proactive and driven with a need to succeed.
·Willing to learn and diversify skillset to include drawing amendments, user manuals and more.
·Occasional travel for exhibitions and client or supplier visits.
