A Level Biology Teacher Required for Top Achieving Independent School - Maternity Cover - February 2019

We are looking for a qualified teacher of Biology to teach Biology at a extremely high achieving Independent School school in BANES from February 2019. This is a 0.8 Science teaching post and is part of a maternity cover.

The timetable consists of classes across all three Key Stages and it is desirable, but not essential, that you have previous experience of teaching Biology at A Level. There is flexibility within the timetable to teach only at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The school has a fantastic reputation and is rated Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ in all categories. You will benefit from an attractive working environment with excellent facilities within a highly committed and hardworking team. The Science Department is well established and has strong leadership. This school is easily accessible from Bath and Bristol.

To be considered for this role you must:
• Hold QTS status
• Have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Biology curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5
• Have the ability to work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive and dynamic Science Department
