PE Teacher Required for BANES Secondary School – Maternity Cover from February 2019

We are looking for a qualified teacher of PE to teach PE at a successful Secondary school in BANES from February 2019. This is a full-time PE teaching role as part of an period of extended sickness. This role includes planning and marking, and the ideal candidate would be wiling to participate in after school and extracurricular activities. The role is expected to finish in July 2019 and the school welcomes applicants from NQTs as well as more experienced teachers of PE. The timetable includes teaching at all Key Stages but this is flexible, and experience of teaching PE to A Level is not essential for this role.

To be considered for this role you must:
• Hold QTS status
• Have a thorough and in-depth knowledge of the PE curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Have the ability to work collaboratively within a well-established, supportive and dynamic PE Department
