Remit
Compass Associates are proudly working with a specialist provider of learning disabilities services to headhunt for a Consultant Clinical Psychologist to work at one of their South Yorkshire sites.

The majority of your time will be based at their residential service in South Yorkshire for adults with severe learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, challenging behaviours and complex needs. You will to provide specialist assessments, formulate therapy plans and deliver therapeutic interventions in line with the Positive Behavioural Support Model. As well as managing your own caseload, you will be the Lead for the Adult Applied Psychological Services where you will visit other sites if a second opinion is required for more complex cases.

As a Consultant, you will manage a team of Clinical Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists and Behavioural Therapists and work closely with the Director of Therapeutic Services and the Consultant Clinical Psychologist for Children's Services. You will be a vital member of the site's MDT which includes Occupational Therapists, SALTs and Consultant Psychiatrists.

Commutable from: Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Wakefield, Leeds, Dewsbury, Normanton, Goole, Selby, Scunthorpe, Gainsborough, Lincoln, Newark, Chesterfield, Worksop, Mansfield, Peak District and surrounding towns.

The Candidate
The successful candidate must have:
A Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology
HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist
Eligibility for registration as a Chartered Clinical Psychologist
A strong track record of service development
Significant experience working with adults who have severe learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum disorders
