Paraplanner – Salary £32,000 - £40,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Based: Various locations

We are searching for an experienced Paraplanner to join our market leading Wealth Management Client. An ideal candidate will hold Full AFPC or be working towards one.

Key Responsibilities:

* To assist in providing technical support and guidance where appropriate to the client
* Review client objectives ensuring they are clear, concise and achievable
* Provide research and analysis of investment funds and financial products
* Conduct fund research and review asset allocation for any investment/pension holdings
* Complete financial cash flow and financial plan forecasts
* Preparation of fund switch and encashment letters according to advice provided
* Liaise with Product Providers / Third Parties regarding any technical queries
* Accurately complete new business sheets to be handed over to the PA
* Complete 4-eyes checks on the completion of application/trust forms and new business
* Provide support to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and deadlines met
* All work to be completed within agreed SLA’s
* Act in accordance with Compliance procedures and FCA Regulations at all times
* Ensure regulatory requirements and company policies are correctly followed
* Maintain client records and client information to keep an effective audit trail
* Successfully undertake company quarterly tests
* Obtain applications, key features documents, factsheets, illustrations and product comparison quotes – providing clear research of the advice provided

Essential Skills and Experience:

* Fully Diploma qualified or AFPC or working towards
* Broad knowledge of a FSA regulated environment and high level of technical knowledge
* Experience of Paraplanning and file checking is essential
* Experience of working within an IFA firm is ideal
* Previous data research and report writing experience within financial services
* Excellent communication skills and high level of numeracy is essential
* Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal communication
* In depth knowledge and experience with cash flow modelling
* Strong IT skills are essential including; Microsoft Office , Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, enable back office and FE Analytics research tools
