Mechanical Engineering Tutor - Nottingham (with some travel across Nottinghamshire ) - £30,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) / 25 days holiday + bank, pensions scheme, working equipment

The Role: Mechanical Engineering Tutor

• This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well respected and established organisation to deliver across Engineering based apprenticeships and qualifications.
• You will be responsible for a small caseload of learners, delivering both theoretical and practical sessions in classrooms/workshops within their specialist academy in Nottingham, with some but limited travel to learners workplaces for to complete work-based assessments.
• You will be mainly delivering up to Level 3 qualifications but there are opportunities to support in designing further training material across short courses in order to maximise their delivery curriculum.
• We are looking for a motivated tutor that is able to bring fresh new ideas and make an meaningful impact within this delivery team.

Essential Requirements: Mechanical Engineering Tutor

• Teacher (PTLLS min) and Assessor (A1, TAQA, D32/D33 qualified)
• Relevant Mechanical Engineering Qualification
• Must have experience in classroom/workshop delivery to apprentices
• Strong industry competency within Mechanical / Machining Engineering (ideally with CAD experience too)
• Experience in delivering and assessing on Engineering apprenticeships and qualifications

Desirables: Mechanical Engineering Tutor

• Experience in designing and delivering short intro course programmes across Engineering would be beneficial
• Experience in delivering fabrication and welding qualifications would be a bonus
