Control & Automation Engineer – South Yorkshire - PLC / SCADA - Food/Chemical/Water/Nuclear - £30-50k DOE

Control & Automation Engineer with considerable experience of Siemens, Rockwell and/or Mitsubishi PLCs and the associated SCADA software packages (WinCC / Intouch) required to work for a very successful System Integrator.

The client is looking for a Control & Automation Engineer with experience in process control and automation ( Siemens / Mitsubishi / SCADA / WinCC / Intouch ) to join them on a growing list of projects where the successful Control & Automation Engineer will be involved in all technical aspects of design, project management, configuration, software development and commissioning.

Control & Automation Engineers’ key activities include;

·Design documentation

·Control system software design and implementation

·Control system hardware design

·Liaison with clients

·Participating in the tendering process

·Report writing and surveying

·Industrial Ethernet network design and testing

·Factory acceptance test specification documentation

·Client facing factory acceptance testing

·On site installation, testing and process commissioning

Applicants need to be qualified to at least Degree level.

The office location is commutable from Chesterfield, Sheffield, Rotherham, Doncaster, Worksop and Barnsley
