Our client is a leading out-of-home advertising business, selling engaging & effective media solutions to national advertisers & their media agencies. They help brands reach a range of targeted audiences, including working professionals, active families & young adults, through advertising opportunities in Health Clubs, Shopping Malls, Leisure Centres, Playcentres, Cinema & Schools. Our advertiser base includes the likes of Netflix, Nintendo, O2, BBC, Paramount Pictures, Red Bull, Nivea, Sky, Nando’s, Nike, Jaguar, Lego, Colgate, Calpol & Sony Music.

An exciting, brand new role has become available. The successful candidate will provide support & assistance to the media sales team, as they create & sell campaigns using our innovative portfolio of media assets. The team deal with well-known national brands across the UK & their respective media agencies, as well as small local businesses on a direct basis.

This role requires a pro-active disposition, natural organisational skills, attention to detail & the ability to learn quickly. Ingenuity is at the heart of the company, so creative flair is a must.

Although this is a fixed 12-month contract role, there may be potential to make the position permanent at the end of this period.

As a Sales & Marketing Assistant your daily activities will include:

Assist with marketing activity (compiling mailers, copy writing, website updates, etc.)
Support the Marketing Executive in ensuring all key projects are delivered on-time & to the highest possible standard
Where needed, undertake external campaign photography for high-value campaigns
Produce case studies for website & presentations
Maintain & update a ‘gold standard’ photo library & mock-up station of media formats
To build presence across social media - Linked In, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
Create ‘mock-ups’ to sit alongside proposals & help win business
Undertake campaign photography for campaigns, collating imagery into presentations
Compile & update network / sector presentations
Competitive scanning - recording campaigns that run with rival media owners
Create supporting network documents as & when required
Flag up relevant network & category insights to the sales team
System cleansing of our ‘live’ excel database
Input booked campaigns onto the Fusion system
Generate site lists as required & complete ‘upsites’ for live campaigns
Assist operations in managing the network & booking system
Support Senior Management with ad-hoc requests (i.e. map-point, desktop research)

As a successful Sales & Marketing Assistant, you will have the following skills and experience:

High energy levels - upbeat & engaging, with a positive outlook
An interest in media, marketing & communications
Natural organisational & prioritisation skills
High level of attention to detail
A self-starter, with creative flair
Professional phone manner
An ability to undertake desk research & extract information from research reports
A good working knowledge of Powerpoint, Word & Excel is essential
An understanding of Photoshop & an interest in photography would be advantageous
