Salary: £20-25k FTE (depending on experience)

Our client is a fast-growing consumer targeted free-to-use listing website providing information and ideas for families with young children on what to do and where to go in the UK. It is an advertising funded business.

The business comprises of a small editorial and research team – an office-based editor and assistant editor and 3 home-based researchers and an office field media sales team and manager.

The Marketing Executive (Content/Editing) is a hands-on role that encompasses a range of writing & journalistic skills, it also requires a broad range of digital marketing skills and involves elements of people and resource management.

As a Marketing Executive (Content/Editing) your daily activities will include:

Marketing

SEO plan/strategy
Overall marketing plan
Confident use of CMS - WordPress
B2B & B2C email marketing campaign creation. Confident use of CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics & Constant Contact)
Creation of AdWords campaigns throughout the year, including setting and monitoring budget
Media pack creation
Weekly reports, containing stats updates from Google Analytics
Continue the implementation of regionalisation project
Co-ordinate large-scale marketing projects e.g. Christmas Campaign, Easter Campaign etc
Oversee team of at least 3 researchers
Oversee film reviewer
Project manage website development, overseeing external website developer
Manage sales requests Editorial & Website Management

Bi-weekly newsletter articles
Regional blog posts/articles
Liaise with bloggers and family attractions, arranging for tickets, reviews etc.
Create competitions, vouchers & events for advertisers
Close competitions, sending out winners’ emails and coordinating prizes
Maintain attraction listings
Keep website advertising up to date and refresh on a monthly basis
Use Paint Shop Pro to size images, accordingly, once sourced
