Pay: £80-95

An Alternative Provision in Newham (inner London) with a successful provision for pupils with social and emotional difficulties are currently looking for a Mentor who is willing to work with pupils who are from Ks4 to Ks5. The school are willing to provide training to staff before handing them a classroom of their own.

The Mentor would:
• Help all students enjoy their learning and get as much out of life as they can
• Identify challenges and ensure that the pupils learn
• Support pupils with communication skills
• Help pupils develop their communication and life skills

The Mentor we require should have:
• Experience working with pupils with social and emotional difficulties
• Team Teach Training is desired
• Experience in using behaviour techniques within a classroom
• Knowledge of teaching range Ks3 and Ks4.
• Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive

• Have the chance to become a teacher at the school
• Gain valuable experience planning and delivering lessons
• Work within a renowned autism provision
• Work with extremely qualified senior staff
• Be supported by senior members of staff

Classroom Details:
• 6 Pupils with 3 Support staff and 1 HLTA in the classroom
• Ks4 and Ks5
