Finance Assistant Office Based: Attleborough NR17 2AT Hours: 25hrs per week 12.00pm -5.00pm but flexible Salary Range: £17,680 - £19,500 depending on experience. Our client was formed in 1995 as an installer of high-pressure water mist systems. In line with their continued success and growth, our client currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate to join the growing finance team. Working as part of a small team reporting their responsibilities to the finance manager. The main responsibility will be dealing with the company’s suppliers and ensuring all records are kept up to date in a timely manner. Responsibilities: •Invoice Processing – dealing with high volumes of purchase ledger invoices. •Suppliers - ensuring purchase ledger balances are accurate, providing payment information to the finance manager, and sending remittances supporting payments. •Cashflow – inputting the payment information in to the business cash flow in line with agreed terms and payment history. •Purchase Cards – reconciling purchase cards with receipts approved by line managers. •Construction Industry Scheme – reconciling sub-contractor invoices and submitting the monthly return to HMRC. •Sage – keeping the accountancy software up to date with supplier information. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: •Sage – a working knowledge of Sage Line 50 is desirable but not essential. •Communication – competent phone manner and happy to liaise with other staff. •Time Management and organisation – working independently as well as part of a small team. •Microsoft Excel – experience and good working knowledge is essential.
