An independent, full-service B2B marketing agency based in Cheshire is currently recruiting an experienced Copywriter to join their digital and marketing team and work across a mix of B2B and corporate sectors, either on one-off campaigns or retained marketing services.
As the lead Copywriter, you will be expected to take briefs from the account management and project teams and turn them into exciting and interesting copy that everyone can identify with. One day you could be writing a 400-word blog and coming up with a killer strapline, and the next you'll be working on a large website project and producing guides on topics you'll have to research. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will also be involved with many other aspects of the agency's marketing. This could include coming up with original ideas and understanding the aims and strategies they use to drive success for their wide range of clients. You’ll be supported by a Junior Copywriter and a specialist Proofreader, as well as other members of the team, such as full-time Designers and Marketing Executives.
What we’re looking for
It is essential that you enjoy and have a natural flair for writing and be able to demonstrate your ability to write and craft different types of copy; including long, short and headlines. You will consider yourself a Copywriter and will have held a formal copywriting position ideally within an agency, or spent a lot of your time writing professionally. You will be passionate about writing and care about producing perfect words no matter what the project.
What’s on offer?
Salary is dependent on experience for this role but will range between £19,000 - £25,000 per annum and a bonus. You'll be joining an agency which has an excellent reputation for training and development, and at this level, will have the chance to really progress. You will receive a range of excellent additional benefits, including 24 days holiday, flexitime (part-time and working from home will also be considered for certain applicants) free parking, and lots of staff activities.
