Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with a reputable business in the Sheffield area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant. Working within a well-established team this role has a desirable package. Duties & Responsibilities of the Assistant Accountant: - Bank account reconciliations - Monthly reconciliation of intercompany accounts - Preparation of VAT returns - Balance sheet reconciliations - Adhoc payment request processing - Processing intercompany journals - Replenishing and reconciling petty cash - Managing capital approval process - Preparing cost centre budgets and forecasts In order to be considered for this role, applicants will possess the following skills: - Ideally studying towards ACCA/CIMA - At least 2 years' experience in an accounts ledger/accounts assistant role - A strong understanding of accounting systems - Strong Excel skills (pivot tables and v look ups) If you match the required criteria and would like to know more about this position, then please don't hesitate to contact me without delay.
