Senior RMN Staff Nurse for CAMHS (HDU)
One of the leading Healthcare Providers is currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join a reputable Hospital located in East Sussex.
The scenic Hospital offers comprehensive inpatient and specialist mental health services for young people aged 12 to 18 within their CAMHS wards and High Dependency Ward.

If you are successful for this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £31,475 per annum with great additional benefits such as NMC payment, £250 contribution towards CDP, pension scheme, continuous professional and independent development, mentorship and supervision plus many more.

As an RMN Staff Nurse, you will be providing senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team in support of the ward manager. You will be working closely with a professional mental health team which includes psychiatrists, doctors and the therapy team in providing the highest level of care the Hospital thrives upon. You will be supervising a defined group of team members to contribute to their overall CPD, undertaking the role of preceptor to newly qualified nurses acting as a role model. This will help develop and promote a culture of learning, inquiry and team vision.

It is essential for you to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with 2 years’ post registration experience with an active NMC registration. You will also need to be a qualified mentor or committed to achieve this within 2 years within the post. You will need excellent communication skills and a positive attitude and commitment to develop and use flexible and innovative approaches to practice. You will also need to be motivated and excited about leadership, providing advice and guidance to new starters and junior colleagues.

To be considered for this role you must be a qualified RMN Nurse with at least 2 years experience and an NMC registration.
