Do you have experience as a Supervisor in a café or commercial retail-catering environment? Then this role could be just right for you.
Our Café Supervisors assist in the management of all aspects of the Café and wider food and beverage operation, by leading the team to deliver the highest standards and optimising financial performance. They also deputise in the absence of the Café Manager.

Some of your typical responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

To assist and support the Café Manager in achieving Café financial targets for both revenue and costs
Ensuring targets are met in terms of venue hire/ birthday party financial targets
To assist and support the Café Manager in the recruitment, induction, training and ongoing performance management and development of the Café staff team
Lead by example creating a culture where customer service is paramount, ensuring that the Café staff team consistently deliver excellent customer service
Assist the Café Manager in responding to all customer feedback which has not been resolved at the first point of contact, providing suggestions for solutions to problems
Ensure that all products are displayed, merchandised and priced correctly
Ensure that the Café operates in line with advertised opening times, and that all products are available as advertised
Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports
Ensure that all relevant legislation is adhered to
Ensure that effective communication channels are maintained with team members, colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders
Take an active role within the Centre Management team, when deputising for the Café Manager, attending meetings and other commitments as required by the General Manager

To be successful as a Café Supervisor with Fusion, you will need:

A minimum level 2 food hygiene certificate (training can be offered)
Experience of customer facing roles at a supervisory level in a commercial retail-catering environment
High standard of numeracy and literacy
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to inspire others to fulfil their potential
Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
Ability to make a positive first impression, well presented at all times
High levels of personal hygiene
A proactive approach, and able to demonstrate personal accountability
Good level of physical fitness, as you will be standing for long periods
The ability to build rapport with customers
