My client is a small well established company manufacturing equipment for industrial processes, in a clean, no smoking environment.
We are looking a person with the skills and ability for mechanical assembly and basic testing of electrical equipment on a small production line, to quality approved standards. The company offers training on all products.
• Product Assembly
• Manufacture of components and parts using basic hand tools and workshop machinery including pillar drill, bandsaw and lathe.
• Use of basic measurement and test equipment to confirm integrity of product.
• Maintain clean and safe working environment using good industrial practices.
• Loading / unloading goods received and dispatch.
• Packing goods for dispatch.
• Complete documentation where necessary following Quality procedure guidelines.
• Other activities as required to keep production running smoothly.
Person: Candidates should have experience of a production environment and preferably some electrical knowledge, but this isn't essential as full training is given.
Position: Permanent employment. Pension scheme available. Standard 40 hour week with overtime required from time to time.
We are looking for some one who is able to start asap, but we are happy to wait for the right person
