National Account Manager – FMCG Catering Supplies

£40-45k DOE + bonus, car, phone, laptop, expenses

Office based with some travel

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic National Account Manager on behalf of our well established market leading client based in Kent.

You will be Coordinating internal teams and sales processes in order to maximise potentials for their top accounts ensuring that targets are exceeded, you will also proactively manage accounts to develop agreed performance milestones ensuring assigned customer requirement and expectations are met.

Responsibilities

* Ensure that constant delivery is met against customers requirement’s by coordinating and managing processes through internal departments
* Take responsibility for ensuring that monthly reports on customer accounts and projects are produced and analyse activities to ensure that goals and targets are met
* Meet assigned targets for sales volume and identify new sales opportunities with both new and existing customers
* Liaise effectively with internal teams to ensure that cross departmental targets and objectives are met
* Take responsibility for ensuring that high standards of customer service and delivery are met
* Manage budget effectively and raise accurate paperwork to ensure excellent financial standards are maintained
* Proactively manage end to end management of supply chain process to ensure that high service levels are maintained
* Meet regularly with internal teams to resolve any issues and look to create new ways of improving an effective service

Skills

* Strong experience gained from a structured sales background
* Experience of analysing trends and developing growth plans
* Familiar with working with cross functional teams and stakeholders
* Proven experience of managing national accounts
* Strong negotiation skills with the ability to converse with a variety of customers effectively
* Should have experience of communicating effectively with senior level management and stakeholders
* Strong team player but can also work independently using own initiative
* Ambitious and result driven with the desire to succeed and become part of the team
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Be resilient and remain calm under pressure
