Our client, a global engineering company, are looking for an IT Service Desk Administrator to join their team in Preston. The role is initially a 12 month fixed term contract but has the potential to become more long term. The position is dealing with a specialist project so is a mixture of 1st line Service Desk Support and administration work within the project team.

The IT Service Desk Administrator will be responsible for:

* 1st line Service Desk Support

* Assisting users over the phone and remotely

* Dealing with 1st line ticketing

* Service Administration - business support across 2 sites

* Dealing with 250 users

* Coordinating engineers diaries / Engineering scheduling

* Potential travel to other sites

The position is a fixed term contract and the working hours are 9am-5pm.

IT Service Desk Administrator Requirements:

* Relevant IT experience/1st line experience

* Strong attention to detail

* Strong administration skills

* Strong office experience
