Tradewind Recruitment are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible:

As a SEN Learning Support Assistant, you will be required to:
• Support children within the Classroom
• Assisting children with school work
• Experience working on a 1-2-1/small group basis
• Have previous experience working with children with special educational needs
• Good knowledge/experience working with children excluded from mainstream school
• Be able to build positive relationships with young people and staff

The ideal candidate will have experience with young people on the Autistic Spectrum and with behavioural difficulties. Candidates who have additional training such as, Team Teach, MAPA, Personal Care, are highly sought after.

You will have the full support of all staff members and management while at the school. The school boasts an impressive roaster of dedicated staff and are looking to expand.

The SEN School is based in Grimsby and has great transport links with a car park for staff members.

• Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
