Regulatory Compliance Manager – Maternity cover

Contract - 9 months

Salary - £35,000

Our client is a large manufacturer who create branded foods which are instantly recognisable in the kitchen cupboards of the nation. They are currently looking to recruit a regulatory manager to cover the desserts and dry savoury goods categories. The role will be on a fixed term basis for 9 months to cover a period of maternity leave.

You should be able to command a position of recognised expert within regulatory affairs. You should have a detailed understanding of labelling requirements. A strong understanding of food technology is desired including manufacturing technologies, your should be able to advise on current and future regulatory implications particularly regarding allergens and additives.

You will be influencing regulatory strategy internally and externally, advising the specification and marketing teams and also contributing to trade federation lobbying. Ideally you will have an established network across both suppliers and customers. This could be an ideal move if you are a senior regulatory professional looking for your first management role or a seasoned manager looking for the opportunity to learn new categories.
